      DETAILED ITINERARY:
       
     

    Day 1: Panama City
    Upon arrival our representative will meet assist and transfer you to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.

    Day 2: Panama City – Boquete
    Breakfast. Guided trip to the most important places and characteristics of Panama. You will have a pretty good vision of Old Panama City, the Colonial or "Casco Viejo" and the modern areas of Panama. Walk around Old Panama City, destroyed by pirate Henry Morgan in 1671; buy souvenirs at the Handicrafts Market there. The tour continuous to the traditional and commercial areas, banking area, and the modern Panama City, follow by a visit to the Colonial area or "Casco Viejo" through the stretched streets, plazas and public parks, where still conserve part of our history, as France Plaza, Las Bovedas, San Jose Church , with it's wonderful altar (all made of gold), the Flat Arc, and Cathedral Church, as others. Also, you will appreciate the biggest engineering structure of this century, considered the "Marvel of the World Number 8". Learn about it's function and history. You could see the vessels as they transit through the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal. Return to the hotel. Then, you will be transferred to Albrook Domestic Airport for your flight to Chiriqui, place of the best White Water Rafting in Panama. Transfer to Boquete Town. Free afternoon to explore the town and visit the natural wonders of the area or simply enjoy the pleasant climate of this place. (B)

    Day 3: River Rafting, Chiriquí - Boquete
    Breakfast. River Rafting is a “must” if you are really looking for adventure in this country. Our classic trips offer sites of rare and remote beauty experienced uniquely by navigating the rivers on rafts. A combination of whitewater excitement, spectacular panoramas, and brushes with foreign cultures make our trips that much more special. Both rivers used, the Chiriqui, and the Chiriqui Viejo, descend the mountain at an excellent and unstoppable speed that, combined with boulders, adequate levels of water, and exotic tropical forest create an ideal rafting scenario worthy of international acclaim.

    Day 4: Boquete
    Breakfast. Free day to relax or take any of the following exceptional tours (not included in this package)
    • Hiking to Baru Volcano: Professional guides will take you to the top of Volcan Baru at 3474 meters height.
    • Ecological Hiking: Hike through some of the most fascinating trails around the Chiriqui Cloud Forest and observe the enormous biodiversity of this National Parks.
    • Macho de Monte Canyon: A tectonic failure from a volcanic origin, there is a river and more than 100 water eyes that come out from the rocks.
    • Los Pozos (The Wells): They are thermal wells, from volcanic origins where many tourist comes here looking a cure for their diseases.
    • Carved Stones from Sitio Barriles: Carved stones made by ancient native cultures. The legend says that two different cultures exchange their merchandise in this place, where people found here three golden barrels.
    • Rappelling
    • In search of the Quetzal:
    one of the most beautiful birds in the world. This green- colored trogon birds lives in the Friendship National Park, and can be easily seeing around this area.
    • Kayaking tour: Kayak in an old volcanic Lagoon, up in the Panamanian Forest.

    Day 5: Boquete - Gamboa Rain Forest
    Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Panama City. Upon arrival transfer to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort (45 minutes approx), an unique combination of luxury and exuberant natural beauty. The resort lies on the banks of the historic Chagres River, on the Panama Canal. Balance of day at leisure. (B)

    Day 6: Gamboa Rain Forest Resort
    Buffet breakfast. Kayak the historic Chagres River, where hundreds of “49ers” floated on their way to California during the Gold Rush. Dramatic rainforest scenery and lush aquatic vegetation combine with raucous calls of water birds. Close to the shore’s edge, you may observe toucans feeding in forest trees or iguanas sunning themselves high in the canopy. Regardless of the time of year, waters are at a comfortable temperature. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

    Day 7: Gamboa Rain Forest Resort
    Buffet breakfast A highlight for any visitor to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort is a ride on its spectacular Aerial Tram Rainforest Canopy Tour. Beginning on the forest floor, you' ll glide silently up and into the rainforest canopy where you'll encounter species of flora and fauna rarely seen by visitors on the ground. An interpretive guide will point out the species of plants, birds, and animals hidden in the lush forest while you enjoy a birds-eye view of the Soberanía National Park. In the afternoon you will visit the Gamboa Rainforest Resort's Ecological Fauna & Flora exhibits, with visits to the Butterfly House, the Snake Exhibit, Cayman & Cocodriles Exhibits, an Orchid Nursery and the Embera Indian Village. The tour through the educational exhibits last about an hour and a half. This gives you an average of twenty minutes per exhibit except for the model Indian village where we allot half an hour. Each exhibit is manned by a member of our knowledgeable staff. Balance of day at leisure to relax and enjoy the activities the resort offers, including the Spa. You may experience the real- life adventures like hiking Las Cruces Trail, investigating the Panama Canal. ( (B)

    Day 8: Gamboa Rain Forest Resort
    Buffet Breakfast. Your journey starts this morning heading to the Panamanian mountains, to experience adrenaline rush at the Canopy Adventure & Tubbing at Colon City . Lunch at Local Restaurant.  (B) (L) 

    Day 9: Gamboa Rainforest Resort -Panama City - USA
    Breakfast. Our representative will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport at the indicated time for your flight back home.(B)
